巴尔的摩中文学校(BCS)是面向对中国的语言和文化有兴趣者提供中国文化教育的非营利的组织。它为学生提供优越的听，读，写，说中文的学习环境和了解中国文化的机会。为了与中国汉语教育及美国大学中文教育保持一致，其教学是采用汉语拼音和中文简化字,采用的中文教科书包括中国人民教育出版社编辑发行的“标准中文”和马立平中文教材。
BCS提供的中文教学包括幼儿班，一至九年级中文班,中文外语班(Chinese as a second language) 和成人中文班(Chinese for adult)。上课时间安排在星期日下午1半至五点半。为了培养学生对不同的学科兴趣，BCS还开设有绘画课。BCS为家长开设有武术，太极拳，气功, 绘画。这学期我们还增加了两项免费课外活动：中文学校少年合唱团 和国学经典诵读班，欢迎大家报名参加。 BCS 的全部课程都在摩根州立大学的工程学院 (Morgan University, Schaefer Building, 5200 Perring Parkway) 教授，每周日下午1:30-5:30。

Drive direction:
From Beltway I-695: Take Exit 30 South, Perring Parkway. Go south a few miles on Perring Parkway. Pass Ingram Rd traffic light, about 1/4 miles; make a Left when you see the Engineering School (a single gray complex building) on your left.
From Downtown Baltimore: Go north on Charles Street, make right on 33rd St, left on Perring Pkwy (north), pass Morgan main campus and then you will see the engineering school (a single gray complex building) on your Right.

BCS 2010 Fall registration will start on June 6, 2010. Class information can be founded on www.baltimorechineseschool.org.
BCS has one registration/two payment policy. That means for each school year (from Sept. to next year June) students only need to registration once at the start of fall semester. But the tuition will be collected on the semester basis (fall and spring). If you decide not to continue on the second semester, you will be allowed to withdraw from school without any obligation for the tuition of the second semester. The tuition and fee for 2010-2011: registration fee is $30/year; tuition is $135/semester for Chinese, $85/semester for elective.

Baltimore Chinese School offers Chinese lessons to children from preschool and up. Our age appropriate
curriculums and course offerings are designed to engage the children in active learning of
Chinese language and culture. We also offer classes to adults who are interested in learning Chinese.

马立平中文教材实验班
从2006年秋季起，巴尔的摩中文学校在一年级开设了马立平中文教材实验班。马立平教材是根据直接认字法的理念而编写。该教材注重学生的阅读理解能力。课文内容生动活泼，易学易懂。通过循序渐进地学习，学生第一年的词汇量可达300+。More information ....
